Having been complaining about too many books, guess what? More books!
… Although I’m allowed to be guilt-free because these are borrowed from the library and so I haven’t spent any money. Two of them are also for my personal statement writing, so are more for study than for pleasure.
- THE DARKEST PART OF THE FOREST by Holly Black
- THE KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO by Patrick Ness
- THE BLACKWELL GUIDE TO LITERARY THEORY by Gregory Castle
- LITERATURE, CRITICISM AND THEORY by Andrew Bennett & Nicolas Royle
Although this includes some study books, I’m actually quite excited to read these as they cover some interesting topics – namely different theories and categories for criticism of literature. Critical theory is something I’ve been interested in this year so it will be interesting to read some books on the subject.
